Profile- Pineapple White Chocolate RY4

A Final Farewell To Holy Holy Grail RY4 v1.

Like most times I'm coming up with a recipe I was in the mood for something weird and very different. I haven't messed with DFS HHG all that much and wanted to do so. I also haven't used VT Love (White Chocolate) much either. Naturally...lets put them together. I was going through my fruits and trying to figure out what would go well with a RY4 and White Chocolate. For some reason Pineapple stood out to me big time....so away we go!

There isn't a whole lot of complexity to this recipe and I was happy with the choice of flavors so at this point it was just a matter of nailing down percentages.

INW Pineapple/Cap Golden Pineapple- This is my favorite Pineapple combo. Cap Golden is the nice sweet slightly candied pineapple which blends really nicely with the more prickly realistic INW Pineapple. INW is a weak bitch of a flavor but it does really well at 5%.

DFS HHG- There ain't much to say here. It's delicious. Some Vanilla, some Caramel, tiny bit of bacco. Can't go wrong!

VT Love (White Chocolate)- I've fallen in love with this flavor. Nice and rich, thick almost creamy white chocolate. I prefer this to LBs White Chocolate because it isn't even close to as coconut heavy as LBs version. I love coconut, but it just doesn't belong here.

V1- I started with 7% DFS HHG, 3% Cap Golden Pineapple, 5% INW Pineapple and 2.5% VT Love. The HHG wasn't as pronounced as I was hoping for and the White Chocolate was a tad buried. The Pineapple blend was perfect just where it was.

V2- Because both HHG and the White Chocolate were not as prominent as I hoped for I bumped the HHG to 8% and the WC to 3%. This was a step in the right direction. I liked where the WC was at but the the HHG was overpowering the Pineapple blend.

V3- I decided to split the difference for the HHG and go with 7.5% enough to keep it out front but not enough to drowned out the pineapple. 3% Cap Golden Pineapple, 5% INW Pineapple, 3% VT WC and I'm in Heaven. I've mixed 2 or 3 30mls of this version within the last couple weeks and cannot get enough of it.

So the twist. Sometime in the middle of developing this recipe, DIY Flavor Shack for whatever reason...announced HHG will be getting a V2 with no more V1. This blows. I've started testing HHG V2 and so far I'm finding it lacks the body that V1 has. I'm not terribly sure how it will affect this recipe. However, I do plan on mixing up a batch with V2 to see what tweaks will need to be made to get it as close to this delightful version. So, on that note. Mix this shit up because I can confidently say its one of the best ways to use up the rest of your V1 HHG ;).

Profile - Creamy Pistachio Ice Cream with Chunks of Pistachio.

Pistachio was the FOTW, Odie gave me the idea of taking the FOTWs and throwing them into The Ice Cream Trinity to see what happens. I didn’t have any Pistachio flavors on me at the time, so I jumped on BCF and ordered TFA Pistachio and WF Pistachio Cream. At the same time that I had whipped up a V1, @ID10-T messaged me asking how I felt about making a Pistachio Ice Cream. Apparently along with being a flavor Guru he’s a mind reader too. Now the pressure is on to get this right.

Version 1 – I started with The Ice Cream Trinity as the base. My SFTs of TFA Pastachio and WF Pistachio Cream were promising. I went with 5% TFA Pistachio and 2% WF Pistachio Cream. This was a really solid starting place but the dairy side of WF Pistachio Cream was drowning out all the work TFA was putting into the mix.

Version 1.2 – With some bullshitting with @staybert about this, he said after talking to @shyndo he went balls to the wall 8% TFA Pistachio and it worked out gloriously. It just needed something to round out the flavor being that high. TFA Vanilla Swirl already being in the Trinity covered that nicely. I dropped the WF Pistachio Cream to 1% hoping to still be able to grab the awesome flavor from it but not bring to much dairy to the table. Still, drowning under cream.

Version 2 – I took a new approach with this one and dropped the WF completely. Can it be that simple? 8% TFA Pistachio plus the Ice Cream? Not so much, it was a big improvement from V1 but I still wanted more of a pop from the nut.

Version 2.1 & 2.2 – Next attempt was to focus on the actual nut aspect. I went two different ways with this one. One version with .25% TFA Acetyl Pyrazine and one with .5% FW Hazelnut. Obviously FW Hazelnut has a bit of a milky/dairy side to it, but I was hoping keeping it down low enough would bring the nut with out the milk. V2.1 was just what I was looking for! V2.2….meh. Was good, but back to square one with too much dairy. Acetyl Pyrazine was they key for this for sure. .25% wasn’t doing exactly what I wanted so I bumped it up .5% and set it aside to steep. Came back to it a week later and it was fantastic!

Version 2.1 Tweaks – I was super happy with where the recipe was at but just for shits and giggles I wanted to throw a couple things at it and see what happened.

  • WS23 @ .5% - It was good, mimics the cold punch you get when you take a bite of ice cream. However, I agree with @ID10-T the cold is funky with the nut, and I feel it distracts from everything else. So scratch that.

  • FA Pistachio @.5% - Nope nope nope. Took this in a weird, dry, almost roasted direction.

So instead of going insane, and trying to fuck with something that was already delicious I settled on Version 2.1. The only other thing I’m possibly going to try is adding a bit of FLV Pistachio because I’ve heard its dead on authentic Pistachio which should work really damn good here.

LB VIC, HS FVIC, and TFA Vanilla Swirl - These make up the delicious Ice Cream Base. The Vanilla Swirl also helps round out the high percentage of TFA Pistachio.

TFA Pistachio - Well, this is kind of a given. A purely delicious and versatile Pistachio flavor. The absolute star of the show.

TFA Acetyl Pyrazine - I used this to boost up the nut aspect of TFA Pistachio up and over the Ice Cream.

All and all, give this a good week steep and enjoy!

Profile: Jammy Dark Berries and Tobacco

Preface: "I do not like tobaccos" is what I told myself for the longest time. I'm still not convinced I do like them. But Cabin, even though it's not a true tobacco, changed my mind. It's got me wanting to play with tobaccos a bit more. Finally, after like 3 or 4 separate orders I was able to get my hands on FLV Jammy Berry. When I got it and smelled it, I was instantly reminded of those Backwoods Berry Cigars. Ya know, those cheap ass gas station ones that come in a pack of like 5 and look like shitty blunts? Yeah those. Thus this idea was born, not exactly a Berry Cigar, but just a quick and simple Berry Tobacco.

FLV Jammy Berry - The star of the show. It's doing all of the leg work here, bringing the blend of dark berries building a main note.

FA Blackcurrant - Mainly just here to back up the Jammy Berry add a bit more depth and jammyness.

FLV Virginia - Sweet leafy sorta tobacconess. I pushed this up to 4% because the Jammy Berry and Blackcurrant are a somewhat powerful duo and it worked out wonderfully. Virginia falls blissfully to the tail end of the mix to wrap it all up.

I haven't had a bottle last me more than a week, but within that week, nothing silly has happened. Shake it. Vape it. Enjoy it!

There ain't a whole lot of crazy complexity or fancyness going on here. Just a simple and delicious Berry Tobacco for even the tobacco haters. As the always lovely @mlNikon would say...." ***ing mix it up!"

Crunchy cinnamon cereal with a splash of milk. Throw it in a drawer for a week and then vape away!

Okay, so here is where the development notes should go. Bad news. There are none. I spit out one idea as a starting point and u/AlfredPudding and I mixed it. The end result was "perfection" as he described it. There's nothing to add, there's nothing to take out. It's a perfect balance of cream, vanilla, butter, and egginess. Imagine eating a spoonful of vanilla ice cream, you swallow it but you still have that delightful leftover flavor of ice cream in your mouth. This is that, it tastes exactly like you just ate a spoonful of ice cream.

LB VIC- Brings the creamy, lighlty eggy, butter notes.

TFA Vanilla Swirl - Brings the vanilla soft serve-esque rich vanilla cream.

HS FVIC - Brings the texture to wrap it up. A little bit of malty vanilla on the tail end.

Creamy Vanilla and Lemon blended Ice Cream with a hint of Basil.

A blend of citrus. Super refreshing for those hot Florida days!

Grape, Watermelon, and Mango!

Have you tried Grango 1-2-3 by AlfredPudding? No? Well go do it now. For real. Both versions are seriously amazing. I'll wait.

Here, I'll help https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/125500#grango_1_2_3_by_alfredpudding .

Welcome back! Anyway. Both variations of this deliciousness sparked a newfound love for grape in INW Grape. With Alfred's blessing, I wanted to do a spin off. I was looking through my flavors and Watermelon popped out at me.

Admittedly, LA Watermelon was my first try with this, but there's literally no better choice for it. The natural yet slightly candied watermelon of LA, compliments the "purple" flavor of INW Grape super well. All of that with a hint of Mango and its heaven. Other than that, 3 flavors and 6% of flavoring, there ain't all that much to say about it.....just mix it!

Chunks of Apple and Cinnamon Danish mixed into Creamy Ice Cream!

This recipe has easily become my new favorite. Liquid Barn Vanilla Ice Cream seriously blows TFA VBIC out of the water.

The Ice Cream

V1 & V2 - This was my first go around with LB VIC and I'm very impressed. For my ice creams I normally go with TFA Vanilla Swirl and TFA VBIC, a combo Foment_Life introduced me too. I love the way Vanilla Swirl brings a bit of the soft serve sweet vanilla ice cream to the table so I kept with that even though going with LB VIC this time. The two of them work really well together.

The Apples

V1- My original Apple blend for this recipe was Cap Green Apple at 1.5% and FA Fuji at 2.5%. My original intention for the apple part was to get the the sour/tang of the green apple while still have the Fuji be the main apple flavor. Testing out the first run over a few days, the Cap Green Apple seemed to clash with the rest of the recipe so I decided to pull it out.

V2- I decided to pull the Cap Green Apple all together and bump FA Fuji to 3.5%. Though not what I exactly wanted at first, I actually liked this version far far more.

The Cinnamon Danish

V1 - Cap Cinnamon Danish Swirl is the star of this aspect of the mix. While it does a bang up job of having the perfect danish/bakery note plus cinnamon, used to high it and overpowers the other parts of the mix. Keeping it somewhat low gave me the pastry aspect with a touch of cinnamon however, not enough to come through the Ice Cream and Apple.

V2- With the CDS in V1 not exactly being as pronounced as I was hoping for, I upped it .25% and paired it with just a touch of FLV Rich Cinnamon (I mean literally....A TOUCH) to help boost the cinnamon up. And it did it perfectly.

Overall thoughts on each version.

V1- Ice Cream end was perfect, rich and creamy, with a hint of soft serve vanilla tossed in there. Apples, not right, Cap Green Apple didn't blend too well, has to go. While the CDS was okay, it still needs a bit of help to get to where it should be.

V2- Hell yeah. Without a doubt blows V1 out of the water. No contest. The Apple and Cinnamon play so well off of eachother. I was 100% content with the recipe.

V3- Now...here is where it gets good. I decided to bounce the recipe off of AlfredPudding for some feedback. While he liked it, he came back with some thoughts. He recommended bumping up FLV RIch Cinnamon from .05% to .10%, dropping FA Fuji just a hair and adding some Pear in there to boost the Apple a touch more. JACKPOT. After making those adjustments I could not be happier with the outcome.

3

Sweet jammy strawberries and whipped cream on top of a lightly buttered yellow cake.

JF Yellow Cake is the base for the cake and Cap Golden Butter is used to give just a touch of butter and moistness you get from those delicious little cakes.

Though traditionally you use fresh strawberries I wanted to get a a bit of a sweet and syrupy flavor out of the strawberries along with fresh, INW Shisha Strawberry does a wonderful job of the syrup/sweeter strawberry and CAP Sweet Strawberry brings up just a touch of fresh strawberry into the mix.

TFA Vanilla Swirl and TPA Whipped Cream brings a nice fluffy vanilla creamy flavor to top everything off.

The most unusual pairing of flavors, that make an awesome juice. Both the Apricot and Peach version are excellent. Though INW Grape isn't a grape flavor, but a "purple" flavor, I fell in love with it. Between the two I'd say the Peach version is better, but that's a bit biased because peach is my favorite flavor. Don't let that discredit the Apricot version though, it's seriously good but in a different way. All in all, a very good grape/purple flavor with a hint of peach/apricot and mango on the end! Three simple flavors. 6% and a fantastic juice.

You look at the list of flavors and think "no...this cannot be Cola." Well guess what...it is. Seriously, this is the most impressive juice I've ever had the pleasure of vaping.

I hate tobaccos. I fought Alfred on trying this. He insists it's not a tobacco. I call bullshit, **3% Virginia**, looks like a tobacco to me! Well, I admit defeat. He's right. In theory, it's a tobacco, in practice...this is a beautifully amazing flavor. Max nails it with "this is fall in a bottle." The Apple Filling is gently backed up by the sweet leaves of the Virginia. Just a nice hint of pear to let you know its there but also provide some body to everything else in the mix. Seriously 11/10 on this excellent flavor.

An absolutely fantastic custard. Ditch the Cap VC, fuck a steep, mix this shit up and enjoy a damn good custard.

This is an awesome Tropical Yogurt. The pineapple blend plays off the kiwi so well and its splashed into an always lovely chilled yogurt. It's a super refreshing, perfect warm weather juice.

Spot on Orange Dreamsicle. Perfect amount of chill and while fantastic as a S&V, give it a day for the Blood Orange to mellow out and it is absolutely perfect.

This recipe single handily changed my mind on booze mixes. Very well done!

An awesome tropical twist on a delicious vanilla ice cream. As a shake and vape the mangoes are super forward and dominate the pineapple. Give it a week and the pineapple punches forward to make this excellent s&v an even more tasty recipe! A+

The picture for this recipe sums it up perfectly. The waffle, the butter, the syrup, the blueberries, they're all there. The only thing the juice doesn't have that the picture does is the cardboard box and well....that's a good thing!

i happen to like Max.

I'm not entirely sure how to explain whats going on here... You know the Chris Pratt meme "I don't know whats going on, and at this point I'm too afraid to ask" ? That's this recipe. It's delightfully, deliciously blue. I'm not going to pretend I know what the TFA Pistachio is doing or what the JF Yellow Cake is doing. But they're doing something and they're doing it well. 10/10

I had the pleasure of tasting this recipe pre-release. When Alfred sent me the link I saw 007 Bubblegum but I also saw Banana and Wintergreen....I had no friggen clue what to expect. As always, I trusted him and mixed it up. First pull Banana. That's to be expected because you put it in there so you want to taste it. Everything after that first pull bubble gum. Spot on bubble gum. This man is a wizard and I love every second of it.

Super good, super simple and refreshing two flavor banger. You can never go wrong with VT Shisha Lime and this recipe is a prime example of how great it is!

"It's weird, but it works" recipes are becoming my favorite profile. This is a fantastic refreshing mix of weirdness. Everything is perfectly balanced and cooled with literally the perfect amount of WS23. This recipe is the epitome of "less is more" 10/10!

Recipe of the Century? I think so!
User: eyemakepizza Score: 5 Entered: 3 months ago
This recipe stands the test of time. A lot can change in mixing in 2 years but this recipe still does wonderful things even with current gear. I’m not the biggest fan of FLV Mango over 1% so I was a bit worried I’d get pure mango vaping this. I’m glad to say that is not the case here, the apple, strawberry, and watermelon do a fantastic job of keeping that Mango in check and not overpowering everything. The 30ml I mixed isn’t gonna last very long! The only thing that could make this better is if I was with Apexified on a beach vaping this tropical wonder!
