I love ENYAWREKLAW’s BOOSTed V3 recipe. All I did here was change the strawberry combo and add INW Biscuit for the ice cream cone (another idea I pinched from ENYAWREKLAW- from his strawberry ice cream cone recipe). It worked out better than I could have imagined.
I got CAP Ripe Strawberries and wanted to play around with it. I decided to put it in a recipe I knew quite well- BOOSTed v3.
The combo of strawberries are made for each other-maybe literally with them both being CAP. There’s the perfect amount of tartness and sweetness which I think balances well with the cream and the cone comes in on the end.
If you would like more strawberry increase both to 4.5%. If you would like it to be more ice cream forward do them at 3.5%.
I wouldn’t have made it public as it feels like I cheated but it tastes so bloody good! This is definitely my favourite strawberry cream recipe that I’ve tried. All credit goes to ENYAWRECKLAW though as it’s 90% his recipe anyway.
It’ll need 3 days minimum. But it gets so much better after a steep. 5-7 days recommended.
Ps. If anyone can tell me how I put a link to ENYAWREKLAWs recipe at the bottom of the description that would be much appreciated. I can’t work out how to do it. Thanks
I made this a long time ago, but I thought I'd share this on here. This is a clone for Vape Wild's "Circus Freak" which is now called, "Circus Bear". What makes this recipe different is the banana in this. It is very sweet. It didnt take long to find that it was TPA's Banana. That's also why I added Cap bubble gum. Cap Bubble gum tastes just like the sweetness inside of TPA Banana, so it big time helps pop it out! I have no clue if they even use cap bubble gum in the real recipe but im telling you, it works great! Everything else I added through trial and error trying to clone the recipe. I added some Banana Cream to blend the sweet banana bubble gum profile as well as adds to creaminess with the Bavarian cream. I added strawberry ripe for the strawberry profile and a little sb sweet to make it sweeter. Cap or tfa van custard both work for this. Its been a long time since ive tried the two back to back since i dont buy Ejuice hardly at all anymore. So if any of you have some Circus Bear or Circus Freak (though that bottle may be expired by now lol) at home, let me know what you think.
Steep for at least a week.
This is not ment to be mixed as is, I mean, it could and it'll taste like a sprite, which of course isn't all that bad, but can get boring pretty fast on its own. The purpose of me sharing this is for you to use as base to put your own fruits or other flavors on top.
First of all, my take on achieving a "fizzy vibe" in a recipe... As true effervescence is not (yet) possible to achieve in vape form, I feel that the sprite esque citrus notes from those flavors is as close as you can get to vaping a soda. Seeing as lemon/lime pairs well with pretty much any fruit out there, you'll be able to do a lot with this base.
The starting % are pretty low, but it's usually where I start when I make a new mix.
FLV Citrus Soda at 1.25% is where I start to get that "fizzy" feeling from it. I think it's usually best between 1-2% depending on what your goals are and what other flavors your mix it with.
CAP Lemon Lime is just straight up sprite almost. It's usually what I start to add more of if I feel the "fizz" is missing, and I think it works best between 1-3%.
WS-23 as cooling works extremely well here to really sell that cold fizzy vibe. If you haven't used it before, start at 0.25%. Personally I do 0.5% - 1% depending on current mood.
I don't have anything against sweetener really, but I don't like using it with this base. I mean it's definitley still good, and it can probably help a lot of other flavors in different ways so I'm not saying don't use it. I do however think it takes away the tanginess of the citrus flavors, thus making it slightly less fizzy. It's a personal preference though, but I never use it with this base. Usually other fruits, florals, etc can be used as sweeteners or are inheretly sweet themselves.
Other good flavors:
VT Fizzy Sherbet can be used in combination with any of the other too, around 1-4% is usually where I use this, depending on what else is in the mix of course.
FA Aurora also great lemon/lime flavor that can be used together with with FLV Citrus Soda or VT Fizzy Sherbet, use between 0.5-2%.
FLV Lime be careful with this one, it's very potent. Start at 0.2%
FLV Pink Guava the grapefruit note from this flavor can also help boost FLV Citrus Soda, that extra tang is usually needed if you want a soda type recipe. Seeing as this is not a lemon/lime flavor like the others, it's not pairing compatible with as many other flavors. But for the right recipe, this can be amazing.
Great flavors, but bad for making a soda:
FA Lime (Tahity) Cold Pressed & VT Persian Lime - don't get me wrong, both of these are GREAT flavors for most purposes, but they are terrible to use in combination with FLV Citrus Soda. What they do is just put a "lid" on the fizzy notes. Makes everything flat in a sense. They add a great lime note, but if you use them high enough, they will take all the carbonated vibes out of the equation. I won't say don't use them, but I think there are better alternatives if you want to boost the lime in this scenario.
A Strawberry Banana Kiwi Yogurt.
Sweeten to Taste.
I honestly wanted to make a tasty, basic, shake and vape recipe based on the profile picture I stumbled across while on Wendy Vapes Moist Monday.
It's smooth and tasty right off the shake the strawberry will come out a bit more at the three day mark while the kiwi will settle into more of a mid note.
Be beautiful to each other, educate, advocate, be good for this community!
Its fluffy, its good, try it yourself.
CAP Sweet Strawberry and TPA Strawberry Ripe - one of my favourite strawberries combo
FW Yellow Cake, TPA Sweet Cream, TPA Vanilla Cupcake - this gives you nice, vanilla, fluffy pancakes, not too sweet. Just right.
Of course you can't forget about melted butter and maple syrup on your breakfast pancakes - CAP Golden Butter and TPA Maple Syrup are just perfect for the job
Recipe high in DAAP, but that gives it that flavour oomph :)
Steep atleast a week for a nice balance of flavours, feel free to adapt this to your taste buds :)
