Valencia Cupcake (Orange Frosted Cake)

A light fluffy sponge cake with a light orange frosting. This one is a work in progress as I am trying to keep the orange to meld into the frosting and keep a separation from the cake layer. I am hoping I dont have to go the FW YC route for the separation aspect.

WF Fluffy White Cake is the main cake layer as it is very airy and light with a great light vanilla note. Layered with the WF Philadelphia Butter Cake adds some body and density along with those butter notes that sits nicely in the base here,.

FLV Frosting ,FA Blood Orange, WF Tangerine make up the orange frosting. I am trying to keep the orange flavor low enough here that it emulates a frosting. I am also trying versions with LA Cream Cheese Icing but am weary about the tangy note mixed with the orange here. It may distract from the cake layer.

I am experimenting here with CAP SS and possibly a sub for FW or FLV sweeteners.

Please give this a mix and let me know your thoughts. Interested to see some opinions. Being a cake, ideally we would look for at least a week steep here, 10-14 days being the sweet spot. The Blood Orange is a little up front off the shake and subsides and settles in as the grains and the frosting come forward.

This is a very light and delicate vape in order to remain true.
