I love pineapple. Like, LOOOOVE pineapple 🍍😍. All of my fancy mixing friends know this, so when this assignment popped up, it was pretty much a given that I'd try my hand at all a pineapple base... However, one of said fancy mixing friends beat me to it... Ok, I thought... Not a big deal. I can do an apple quad! Or a wildberry! Or maybe a grape! So I got to work on the apple, but something was gnawing at me. My heart just wasn't in it... Pineapple is my jam, damn it. My white whale, if you will. No fancy friend was going to take that from me!
Now, that being said, this is not 100% done. It needs more.... Something. Or maybe less of something. I'm not sure, but I think it's a good start. This recipe may change a bit because I genuinely NEED a solid pineapple base in my life, and I feel like some tweaks may be needed to get there. Maybe my pineapple competitor is closer than I am? It's definitely a possibility... But for now, this is where I am with it. We'll see where it goes from here. 🍍
