Prapple Bacco 2021

So the short version of the story here is that ID10-T mentioned that the original @fear recipe was a great concept but the Achilles heel was in limiting the mix to using exclusively FLV flavors, particularly that the FLV Praline was leaving off notes. Around the same time, I had suggested a basic recipe to Sanctum that was Fuji/turkish/sweet cig. When I saw the similarities between the two recipes (or the recipe and my kernel) I got to trying to work this one out. It was @Sanctum who suggested adding some MB Shape up Pear to play off the fuji. I used some Sweet and Smoky to add some depth and went to trying different pecan and praline flavors. A few tests later, I asked ID10-T for some suggestions on what to try next. Ofc I didnt have the flavor he suggested, FW Pralines and Cream. Trust the fam, that is one damn good flavor. So glad I got it. It's a really tasty flavor.

I kinda tooled around with this for a bit and I wont list the variations or the anguish. The final key was updating the sweet cig to mild tobacco which still breaks my heart because I like Sw Cig so much. In the end, Sw Cig just clashed with the apple blend and I just had to let it go which was perfect for the Mixer's Club theme of updating a recipe with recent flavors.

Note on steep time: I'm still unsure of the specific time to wait. FLV Mild is a steeper. 2 weeks is a safe bet. I bet 10 days is enough, but not 100% sure yet.

Original Notes from @Fear : Aight, so here we go again. Yet another FLV Tobacco recipe.

TLDR: Tobacco, Apple Praline

I originally started this one with vanilla toffee in mind playing off the sweetness of FLV Sweet Cigarette as a base. There are just so many good RY4-ish tobaccos out there without adding another that does not truly stand apart. I also really wanted to use my BAE Red Burley in here and started thinking of playing off of it's inherent nutty tones using FLV Praline to bolster them a bit. I used Granny Smith in this profile to keep the recipe grounded outside of RY4 territory by giving it some fruit tones and a different sweet edge. I needed some ash here but not the Kentucky Blend "crutch" ash I have been using and thought the FLV Turkish played nicely here in that it brings a bit more complexity in the tobacco profile while adding a little bit of ash.

P.S. One iteration of this took me down a very rich dessert praline tobacco trail, it is still in the works and will be coming out eventually. #staytuned ;)

Steeping Disclaimers: I really like FLV Tobaccos fresh, not that they fade away but on the Shake and Vape they have a very strong, rich and sometimes almost overwhelming presence that I enjoy. This one really comes together about day 5 VG Disclaimer, Yes, I still think tobaccos benefit more from 50%-60% VG, but do as you please, it is nice at 70% VG as well.
