Yellow Lava [Pod/Subohm Tank]

One of my favorite flavors was Mr. Magic from BlueDot. It's a pineapple, strawberry, and coconut flavor profile but different from the Lava Flow recipes that I tried out.

Pineapple: I went through many different pineapple combinations to find something that's sweet, tart, and acidic. I believe the combination of these 3 pineapples brings a great flavor profile to the table where there's a tiny bit of added funk on the backend from the SSA Thai Pineapple. The original doesn't have this, but I think it works better than in the original. The original likely used CAP Golden Pineapple and TFA Pineapple for acidity, but I did not have TFA so I wanted to replicate the acidity another way.

Strawberry: Most Lava Flow recipes will have strawberry at the forefront, but this has pineapple at the forefront instead. I tried many different combinations of strawberries but came back to this one. The way the TFA strawberry fades after a few days is similar to how the original juice is. The strawberry fades but the deeper fruity notes stay and melds it all together. I tried different combinations of JF Strawberry Sweet, INW Shisha Strawberry, CNV Strawberry, FA Red Touch, and WF Strawberry Baked.

Some of the other strawberries taste better off the shake, but I found that none of them taste as good (to me) after a few days. The way TFA fades is exactly what I was going after, but if you're not looking for a flavor that fades something like JF Strawberry Sweet might be a better option.

Coconut: FLV Sweet Coconut and FA Coco just weren't coming through enough on a tank for me, so I went with more prominent coconut flavors. I know there are some suntan lotion tasters out there and 1% coconut extra might be too much for you. You can adjust down to 0.75% or 0.5% to help with that if needed. I find that as the strawberry fades, so does the slight suntan lotion taste.

Everything should come together after about 2 days of steeping. The juice might not be the most creative or tasty, but it was a long-term ADV for me and I wanted to have it on hand when I wanted that profile. It's tangy, acidic, and sweet with some coconut and fruit notes.

If you've been looking for a tropical vape and like pineapples, give this one a try! It works great in a sub-ohm tank and I'd imagine does well in a pod as well. It did not translate well to an RDA for me. I tested on a Fireluke FreeMax 2 @ 27 watts with 0.5ohm coils.
