Like the rest of this series, I'm going for a simple full flavored pineapple.
Pineapples. INW Pineapple and SSA Thai Pineapple make a great combo for reaching a rich pineapple flavor. WF Pineapple Candy gives the combo a contrasting candy note to support the main two.
MB Pineapple Lassi here is a further bolstering of the pineapple flavor, but also to lend a blending creamy note to help fill mouth feel. TPA Vanilla Swirl is used here in the same capacity.
After making a first version I realized it needed a bit of a sour bump, so I added VT Sour Lemon to give that just a little lift.
Add some sweetener and boom, we are off to the races. This recipe came together quick and I didn't try other pineapples. I knew INW and the MB played well together, but the SSA just adds a bump to the INW natural profile. I'm sure some of them can be subbed out.
This is great right off the shake, in a few days the creaminess is going to bloom and over take the pineapple for a bit. It really becomes a soft serve pineapple ice cream. Then the cream settles back down after a week or so and the pineapple comes forward again.
Trying to build a light feel with a lot of creamy Pineapple and Coconut. Admittedly now this would have been better if I would have went down the pudding route but I'm new to mixing so sue me. I came up with a lot of variations of this that included Walnut and Roasted Pecans & Cream but this is the one I decided on because I like it. I tried to bring out the Pineapple more with Pineapple Baked but didn't like it at all. Tried Lime but that kept taking over and settled for Lemon Custard. which I think if you mix this you will agree accents it very close to the pineapple I was looking for. Special shout out to folkart who has been very patient with me and my learning curve on this recipe.
Beginning Mixer: Nothing comes out right. I hate myself. Why did I ever start mixing. I don't have a clue what I'm doing. Why don't I quit now. That's right because I'm always in pursuit of that one mix that I can look back on and say, yeah I did that.
For US viewers: Pineapple, raspberry and orange taffy
For UK viewers: fruit salad chewits
This is a delicate mix, it has to be for the nature of the taffy, taffy can’t come through as a punch, it has to come through as a tickle on the end. I’ve tried time and time again to make the taffy bang in your face but it’s impossible due to it starting to taste more of a caramel than anything else. Originally this contained FLV cotton candy but I swapped it out to WF CCJB due to it fitting the profile better. There is no prominent flavour in fruit salad chewits, the pineapple and raspberry are pretty well balanced which make up the “fruit salad” element, and then the orange kind of comes after but it’s barely there so I’ve gone low just to ease my mind 😛 the super sweet helps the candy profile but drop it out if you wish.

I did not want a boring cherry or strawberry gummy because I have done that before. So I tried to think of what other flavor could be a red gummy and decided I would try a punch again. I have tried in the past and was not impressed. However, I really like this mix. I have already made 120ML of it. The FLV Citrus Soda is a bit forward as a shake and vape (which I do not mind) but after a day or so, it starts to blend in and let the other flavors show. It's not super tropical IMO but I would say it's punchy. IMO sweetener is NOT needed and may mute things as it already has several candy flavors in it as well as the Jelly Candy.
As for exactly what it tastes like, it vaguely reminds me of a less sour, Sour punch straw candy type thing.
So thought I'd start a v2 of the first recipe I ever shared online.
I kept cap juicy peach as it gives us a nice bright rounded peach flavour.
Cap yellow peach used to boost juicy peach & its works amazingly as a bridge between the peach n pineapple.
WF pineapple Candy gives us a nice bright pineapple note.
Cap golden pineapple is here to just help fill out the pineapple.
No sweetener needed as majority of the flavours in this have a nice natural sweetness to them.
If you're an unlucky one who gets harshness from peach n pineapple I'd recommend leaving it to steep for a few days.
It's getting hot out there. On day 13 of work straight. Bubba needs something to wet the whistle, and I need a vacation. Let's meet in the middle and make something nice and tropical to take our minds away from the chaos and to sunny shores. Very pineappley recipe
VT - Sugarloaf : If you haven't made yourself aquainted with this flavoring, you're missing out on something big. This pineapple is outta this world. Shame the Aussies are getting fucked over right now with vaping, because God damn they make some da'gum good flavors. At 2.5% this will make it the star of the show as VT flavors are quite potent and INW pineapple will back it up plenty
INW Pineapple - I love this flavor. I bounce back to it time and time again whenever I need a reliable pineapple for a fruit mix.
FLV - Cream : Been favoring this cream a bit lately as it carries a nice dairy note to it which really gives it an authentic cream feel. Brings up the middle body of the flavor quite a bit and takes some bite off the pineapple and hides any offnotes
