Cherimoya can have a different taste depending on their level of ripeness.
If it's still in it's green state it tastes exotic, sweet, tropical.
The longer it ripes, the more it becomes like a apple yogurt, almost like a apple birchermüsli.
When ripe, a lot of people don't like the taste anymore.
In this recipe, i paired the fresh and tropical taste with VT Yellow Passion Fruit and VT Snakefruit to boost the tropical taste in Cherimoya.
I added FLV Wild Melon and TPA Quince to mellow it out and ad a bit of a watery mouthfeel.
But this recipe has a downside, you need to steep it for 3 days. Freshly mixed, the recipe vapes a bit harsh for my taste.
I use this recipe mostly in an MTL DotAio Setup.
It's just a simple tropical vape without overpowering your sense of smell for a long time
VT-Bilberry Ripe-(1%)-The minute I smelled this one I knew this was it!! I used this to boost the "blueness" in the recipe.
TPA-Blackberry-(0.15%)-***Be careful with this one do not over use it is very potent* **I used the Blackberry as the main blue note because I pick up some florals out of it ,which sings with the hibiscus beautifully. (The blackberry has a tendency to stick to whatever you put it on)
TPA-Hibiscus-(1.5%)-Big Shout out to Edible Malfunction for pointing me toward this hibiscus and away from FLV, compared to how the FLV was making this mix taste like i was eating the stem with everything this work a lot better but can be perfumery at high %(Not Saying FLV is bad but for this mix for me it just didnt work)
(Removed 10/6/19 because of fading) LA-Lemonade-(2.25%)-This is my Lemonade base to provide that tartness I need to counter all the sweetness in this recipe.
FLV Lemonade-(2%)- As a replacement for the LA Lemonade I kept having fading issues with it this also bring some juiciness to the mix
CAP-Hibiscus-(1%)-Serves dual functions as an accent to the TPA hibiscus and an emulsifier to help everything blend.
TPA-Strawberry Ripe-(1%)-helps make everything pop and bring some sweetness to the party.
VT Yellow Passion Fruit-(0.25%)- to give it more of a tropical body (did experiment with FLV Boysenberry, FA Passion Fruit , VT Passion Fruit and FLV Passionfruit) Felt like this one fit the best and joined with the florals,
FWIW I feel like this capture the drink perfectly if there is anything u guys think i can sub to make it better etc. please lmk =]
I used 1 drop cap super sweet per 30 ml you can add WS-23 to your liking hope you enjoy as much as I did working on it then finally getting it the way i wanted
Starbucks Drink Inspiration- https://www.starbucks.com/menu/drinks/refreshers/very-berry-hibiscus-lemonade-starbucks-refreshers-beverage
I wanted to create a funky tropical summer mix and use some of my new flavors.
SHISHA MANGO+ISLAND MANGO-
I have been really digging this combo, shisha mango is pretty ripe, and island mango is a bit under-ripe. Combined I think they make a great balanced mango.
TPA PAPAYA+WF PAPAYA-
I really enjoy the tropical muskiness of tpa papaya and like using it @ 2%. Wf papaya is excellent, and it has a nice tropical sweetness. I didnt want too much of it to be present, I'm mainly using it for its sweetness and letting the tpa papaya shine.
VT YELLOW PASSION+WF PASSIONFRUIT-
VT yellow passion is great and pretty much the best passionfruit around, I want it to be very present, so I am maxing it out @ 2%. I am using WF passionfruit mainly for its citrus notes @ 1%. I was going to drop it completely and add a lemon or orange flavor, but I felt this was best utilized in this mix, instead of adding other erroneous flavors that would be distracting and get in the way.
Think of this as a sort of tropical diharrea, Hard to spell but easy to get. I like to use .4% FW sweetener or.25% SS, the mix is pretty sweet already, so its not essential.
This is a collaboration recipe, there are so many people that worked on this recipe - from our viewers to the TFV team, I just want to thank everyone involved. Here are the related videos:
The original idea from this blend comes from a Monster Energy drink called Mucho Loco. This drink is a juicy tropical mango, blended with a delicious bright Passion Fruit. The drink has orange in it, and those citrus notes are not there to distract you from the Mango & Passion Fruit - they are there to enhance this combo and make it EXTRA vibrant and colourful. We believe the concentrates used in this mix achieves that. The cactus helps add juicynes to this recipe, and also boosts the Citrus notes in FA Mandarin. Jelly Candy used super low adds a thickish texture to this drink, like a sweetened fruit juice.
Sweeten and cool to taste, we recommend 0.3% CAP SS & 0.5% ws23 (20% Dilution) - I would recommend using Super Sweet, it adds a smidge more body to Cap Jelly Candy.
This is a delicious blend of fruit that I like to vape thru the steep from start to finish, that way i'm not stuck on one fruit. I have tried a few variants of this with different vendors and this blend is a perfect match for this recipe. The transition from one flavor to the the other. A recipe that changes from day to day .... I love it... don't let this one pass you by, and once mixed, after the bubbles settle, stay on it, till your 30 ml. is gone. I have been mixing 50ml. in 60ml. bottles to give me some room to shake it. Just works.
Mixed on Fresh03 SaturDYI'ing with Friends on March 23rd 2019. I love passion fruit, it's not a mystery so as we were doing tropical ice creams I had to do a passion fruit sherbet.
VT Fizzy Sherbet + WF Frozen Yogurt = This is the sherbet base. The yogurt acts like the cream that gives this lush and generous feeling to the sherbet.
VT Passion Fruit + FA Passion Fruit + VT Yellow Passion + CAP Grapefruit = The passion fruit full force. VT and FA Passion fruit are a strong fruit base. VT yellow passion makes the passion fruit more authentic and a touch floral. CAP Grapefruit is here to give it a little tartness and redness.
Cap Super Sweet = rounds up the vape very well and makes the passion fruit pop.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do !
Be queer & vape on !

This is a simple passion fruit vape that just tastes darn good! on the inhale you get a sweet bright vibrant passion fruit with a slightly floral and orange finish .
Good off the shake better 3 days - tested and developed on an reload RDA at 55W
So you may be thinking WHY OH WHY did I add back bar bitters to this . Well the back bar bitters by FLv seems to me like an orange bitters , which traditionally have made from the peels of Seville oranges, cardamom, caraway seed, coriander and burnt sugar in an alcohol base., and create a unique pairing against the bright tropical notes of the passion fruit.
The combination of passion fruit and yellow passion fruitcreate a lovely authentic passion fruit . I wanted some more of the orange note I get from the passion fruit so I used that higher but you can use it as a 50/50 . The yellow passion fruit provides more of a tart finish that I used at a slightly lower percent
Coconutwas used for some body and creamy notes, to help blend the mix rather then a dairy cream
Back bar bitters are used for that bitter orange note that picks up on the orange from the passion fruit. It also adds some darker spices that get the tropical fruit to pop . it is noticeable in the exhale and make for a really interesting finish
Add sweetner to your liking I added .5% of FLV sweetness to mine
this is my take on kirks pasito drink.
Kirks is a soft drink manufacturer founded in Queensland, Australia in 1959, popular for their range of flavours including lemonade, creaming soda, and sarsaparilla.
the pasito is one of my favourites a cold can on a hot day is very refreshing basically its a passion fruit soda. as soon as i tasted vape trains passion fruit concentrates i knew they were destined for this. the fizzy sherbert is the soda base and the peach brings a nice sweetness and helps the passion fruit out with out coming through.
feel free to add cooling or sweetener
This started as a collaborative input recipe concept I put up on our DIY Downunder FB page. A lot of us contributed with our thoughts, opinions, experiences and with that along with mine I came up with this beautiful rendition of the Aussie Bakery classic, passion fruit tart. This is seriously the best recipe I have crafted to date. Thank you to all those who contributed with their thoughts and ideas on our page!! This is for you and I welcome everyone to not only try this but see if it can be improved.
Down to the what & why:
This is a childhood memory and a profile I know very well. To have nailed this profile brings a smile to the dial.
This combination of concentrates IMO is a perfect 10/10 bakery crust stone for a citrus style pie bakery.
The FLV Pastry Zest, INW Biscuit & TPA Pie Crust works together as a beautiful team that delivers the
perfect flavor and textual mouth feel to deliver the base for this profile.
The fine balance of a little lemon and a kiss of tangerine really are the hero's that lift the mouthwatering
passionfruits to an amazing level of authenticity. The Yellow Passion by VT is the most beautiful Passionfruit
I have ever SF tested but half/half with the "VT Passionfruit" it is out of this world!
The Use of FA Custard is the most reliable and beautiful custard that offers that hint of brightness on the end
that IMO makes it a must to utilise in any citrus style recipe that call for a custard.
The Capella Butter Cream pairs perfectly and delivers the glossy sweet texture that this profile was calling for.
Give this recipe a mix whether you have had a chance to try the "real thing" or not.
If you have an appreciation for this profile please let me know what you thought.
Most of all enjoy your mixing journey! & Pash That Tart!!!! lol
