My entry for DIY Downunder "Flavorah Mixing With 2020 Vision Challenge"
So I went all in on this one. I really wanted to push my self this time, and the was to make something delicious with flv Brie cheese.
I searched the internet for desserts with Brie cheese, and I fell over this video with a lady making a puff pastry baked Brie with pear that’s looked very tasty.
So I went with it.
BRIE CHEESE: so I wanted the Brie to be notable but still vapable, and 0.7% may seem high for most people and it is a pretty scary flavoring, but it also got something to it that really isn’t that scary when paired with the right ingredients. At 0.7% it’s there. You can definitely taste it. It brings a touch of that musk that it has, but also I nice velvety mouthfeel.
WF CROISSANT, ACETYL PYRAZINE: This is my puff pastry. Croissant is the perfect base for this part , and backed up with some AP for some texture.
PEAR, APPLE FILLING: This is the pear filling that lays on top of the Brie cheese just before you wrap it I puff pastry. The pear is a perfect ripe pear, and the apple filling adds some cinnamon spice, adds a cooked feel to the pear and provides some texture to the pear 🍐.
VANILLA PUDDING, VANILLA BEAN: the pudding i used to add a slight creamy feel, and the vanilla bean to enhance the vanilla flavor in the vanilla pudding. Adding vanilla, tricks our mind to think, that what we are vaping something sweeter than it really is, and are making the Brie cheese taste, become a dessert type flavor that we can enjoy.
SWEETNESS: Where absolutely necessary to make it enjoyable. Cause even though the vanilla is there, the vanilla also needs some actual sugar to make this work.
That’s it. Give this baby a 5 day steep, and lean back and enjoy a PUFF PASTRY BAKED BRIE AND PEAR
This is a simple vanilla dessert, with cookie crust. The FW Butter Cream adds the emulated nuttiness, along with the touch of AP, and the Graham fills out the base layer. Very simple, but is guaranteed to pair perfectly with your Thanksgiving dessert. Whether it's pumpkin, apple, or pecan pie and some espresso, it's meant to sit nicely with no contrasting profiles.
Inawera's Burley is nowhere near FA's,although they share some common characteristics.FA's Burley is stronger, more concentrated, has some spicy notes and is more cigarette like in taste.Inawera's Burley is smoother, has a better balance between salt and sweet,it can be used as main aroma in a tobacco mix and i think it could be the only tobacco from inawera that can be used in higher percentages.
Tobacco symphony and the combination of pyrazine-beer nuts -creamy hazelnut add a nutty, yet not too salty note.Caramel and Miss cream make the mix just a little sweeter, smoother and somewhere in the background you might notice a slight chocolate note(depending on hardware, set up and wattage).
I really enjoy this in relatively low wattage(0,7ohms around 20watts)in mtl device.
It really needs a good 14 days steeping and is completely ready 20 days
Be patient and enjoy!
This is my tribute to Inawera. Also, this is an effort to combine concentrates that are not so popular among mixers, but still they are worth having them.Sweet king is a nutty cake aroma and cherries in liquer is exactly what it says and if you keep the % low,you don't get any off notes.enjoy and experiment!
ok,i know.not reinventing the wheel here, but i haven't seen any recipes in this profile that contain fw's cakes.my intention was to create a white cream lemon cake and i think it is really good considering that.if anyone wonders how close it is on the famous lemon recipe,i think it is pretty close(as long as i remember, because i have not bought any of it for like 6 months).this recipe is a little more on the bakery side and less on the lemon side.
i hope you mix it and enjoy it!
Great Shake and vape, the cream cheese icing comes thro in the beginning but settels down after steeping, and then the bread comes tho with a bite of cheese on exhale.
Cream Cheese Icing (LA): its light and adds sweetness to the recipe as a whole, it also adds depbt and a light cheese flavor, it gives it a custard feeling without adding vanilla to it.
Cream Cheese (RF): it gives a deeper cheese flavor with a heavyness soo used in small amount, as it can easily overpower a recipe.
zeppola (FA): Brings out the toast more and seperates the bread from the cheese.
Baked Bread (RF): The bread combined with pyrazine gives a toast flavor.
Acetyl Pyrazine 5%: Adds a nutty flavor that brings out the toasty notes from the bread.
