A bit of a prologue
Since starting DIY, this was the recipe I knew I had to create. The first seven iterations I was able to make something that resembled this staple drink. After a year away and trying different recipes, I came back to what brought me here. With more knowledge and more flavors, this is the closest I am willing to take this mix.
Sure, some tweaking could help round out everything a little more, but in the end, it satisfies.
WARNING: INW Shisha Punch is potent as fuck. Use this at 1 drop per 15ml.
TFA Brandy / TFA Kentucky Bourbon - What's an Old Fashioned without the brandy? TFA's version is a bit more thick and syrupy than I would like, it's subtle and blends in the middle while adding some body. Bourbon is used low to enhance the Brandy and give more of the alcoholic sting in the throat.
TFA Brown Sugar / INW Shisha Punch - Big shoutout to @CriticalVape for finding the almost near perfect aromatic bitters mix. Even at low percentages, the amount of spice that is added really brings this vape to another level.
CAP Lemon Lime - Us Wisconsinites mix our Old Fashioned with Sprite. Lemon Lime brings out that bright, somewhat bubbly feel overall. After a shake, it does have a plasticy off note, but dies down after about a day steep.
FW Orange / FW Maraschino Cherry / TFA Sweetener - If you are unfamiliar with how this drink is made, a few cherries and a slice of orange are muddled in the glass with a sugar cube. These three flavors try to represent that mixture. While the cherry kind of hides in the mix, the orange tends to be upfront and overall present throughout the vape. Of course, sweetener enhances these notes. while rounding out the sharpness of the Lemon Lime and Orange.
Right off a shake, it's completely vapable, I do recommend about a day or two to kill off those off notes.

INW Shisha Punch is an incredible, spicy, yet fragrant and satisfying blend. It is usually the cornerstone of any recipe it joins, as it is highly potent and hard to subdue. Thus, we use it here at a careful 0.3%. Shisha Punch also blends famously well with the oily, zesty nature of FW Blood Orange, used here at 2.5%. Once again, the two are joined successfully for a light mulled-orange spice.
Here, we blend the subtly-spiced orange base together with the fragrant fruit combo of the amazing FLV Persimmon, and our old reliable pal, TFA Pear. A simple recipe sure to set your olfactory system right again. (A great cure for olfactory fatigue, a.k.a: Vaper's Tongue, as well)
Works great as a shake-and-vape. Allow 48 hours for the Shisha Punch to back down a bit for a nice balance.

(INW Shisha Punch also works best as a dilution. When using a 10% dilution, one can add more to a given recipe. This achieves a higher accuracy with a flavoring where ONE SINGLE extra drop can be the difference between awesome and offensive.)
(The 0.3% noted here is the full-strength, non-diluted commercial flavoring.)

"Winter is coming....."
Nothing warms you better than a Bourbon cocktail. My favorite is the Old-Fashioned. It's a time-tested recipe that is sure to please in any of it's myriad variations. Not coincidentally, it translates PERFECTLY to vapor. This profile lives for olfactory application. It's beauty is in it's ingredient simplicity yielding complex flavor results. Ever since it came together, I cant stop vaping it. It gets better every day.
This iteration is a spicier one, as it is modeled after a recipe using brown sugar and Angostura bitters. The cornerstone is the duality of TFA Kentucky Bourbon, and a touch of FA Vanilla Bourbon. I've found the FA adds a subtle high note to an otherwise perfect TFA offering. This bourbon combo leaves room for the real beauty of an Old-Fashioned: What lies "beneath"......those subtle aromatics, earthy spices, herbal undertones, citrus, and ripe fruit notes peeking from below.
Nothing overpowering, just fragrant hints vying for your attention. Their friendly interplay is essential to make the recipe equate to more than the sum of it's parts.
This recipe is using an aftermarket dilution of 10% INW Shisha Punch in PG solution. (To make dilution: Simply add 1mL flavoring to 9mL of plain PG.)
Our aromatics are chiefly INW Shisha Punch (see note ). A grossly under-appreciated flavoring that is pretty tasty on it's own around 0.5%. With notes of cinnamon, clove, cardamom, nutmeg, star-anise, and then some. Shisha Punch stands in for the quintessential aromatic bitters. The only lacking component from the flavoring is, perhaps, vanilla. Thus, a boost of TFA Vanilla Swirl is used to fill that missing space in the Angostura puzzle. It adds straight vanilla, and rounds out some edges with it's light creaminess. This is no place for an egg-laden bakery vanilla.
We're left with our simple muddled ingredients: TFA DX Brown Sugar, FW Blood Orange, Sucralose, Ethyl Maltol, and FA Lime Tahiti DISTILLED (NOT Cold-Pressed!).
(The DX Brown Sugar can be subbed with regular Brown Sugar Extra. However, the DX version can hold up to higher temperatures without imparting nasty burnt notes.)
Naturally, DX Brown Sugar and Blood Orange stand in for the orange-peel and brown sugar, with the Distilled lime an added feature to liven the citrus tone. FW Blood Orange, and FA Distilled Lime Tahity are hard to sub, as they possess so much of that oily, spicy quality of an actual citrus rind. The Sucralose/EM combo represents the simple syrup component. With that, we're off to the races.
