My goal was to create a simple apple profile - Fresh and juicy.
When I was working on my version of Camp Tigerclaw (@ConcreteRiver), I had an opportunity to test a lot of apple flavours. Many of them were either bad, average or didn't have potential to stand on their own. The few that stuck with me, were FLV Apple and INW Shisha Apple - I knew I could build a nice apple profile with these flavours.
I tried to find the right ratio with the help of other apples, but somehow always failed or the results were just not satisfying. Then I came across this recipe - Pantsless Krampus by @SlashaLO. It was a tobacco mix, but with a great apple stone. The percentages seemed alright, but for the recipe to stand on its own, it required a few tweaks.
FLV Apple is the main player here. It delivers a mix between red and green apple. It's tart, bright and does a great job of imitating an apple, but was too "acidic". It needed help from another red apple, and FLV Red Apple was a good fit (another choice might've been INW Shisha Apple, but I liked it more with this one). The problem with this flavour though, is that if you go high, you will not only get a red apple flavour, but also some kind of "rotten cider" taste. Maybe this could be covered up in the original recipe by the tobacco, but the original ratio didn't work.
WF Thai Apple adds some depth to the mix.
INW Pear is not here for the juiciness, but rather to give the mix some "fleshiness". Pears are usually very light flavours, but not the INW one. Works really well here, and it also blends seamlessly.
I encourage you to use sweetener here, CAP SS or FLV Sweetness - Since the apple flavours are very acidic, the sucralose helps tremendously.
Tested on NarCA RDA, 42W, 0.3 Ohm, Framed Staple Ni80.

Coming from a place with a burning desire to make something unique, delicious, warm and makes you feel comforted. This is a hybrid recipe created with a blend of flavours that I imagined would offer warmth and comfort. That is what this mix is about. Sure there is technique here, but what I would rather you the mixer do is mix this and with each vape of this, try and pick out how each flavour plays and how it melds. Pull it apart by single flavour testing each flavour. See how each flavour works with another at these percentages.
That is mixing, real DIY mixing IMO.
The only thing that will be burning besides your desire for more will be your battery power as you enjoy this vape full of richness and balanced flavours that don't really belong together,
but somehow they do.
This is Campfire!
IMO this is a very pleasant and enjoyable vape on a single coil RDA at 60W with a SST Alien single coil at 0.2 ohm
Steep Time 5 Days for best results.
I hope you enjoy this just as much as I enjoyed creating this little recipe, but let me know what you thought in the comments below.
Seriously if you like a solid recipe that works give it a go!
Cheers for reading this far, now go and get mixing!

Originally called Golden Wind but Golden Pear makes more sense.
A cool, LemonLavenderPear Champagne enveloped in Honeysuckle.
INW Cactus - Needed a bit of tart juiciness.
TFA Dragonfruit - To fluff and emulsify the fruits.
TFA Honeysuckle - Soothing fresh floral note that blends into each flavor's background.
FA Lavender - A perfect compliment to FE Lemon and just an overall amazing and satisfying flavor. I've been meaning to put more use to it.
FE Lemon - The king of lemons, and just enough to fuse with Lavender so that neither dominates the other.
INW Pear - IMO the King of Pears. Provides an accurate and gentle pear note that rests alongside the lemon and lavender.
FW Pink Bubbly - This one provides effervescence without additional flavor changes, like TFA Champagne or VT Fizzy Sherbet.
FW Sweetener because I like it better than CAP Super Sweet,
WS-23 - I put this into just about anything; kicks up the flavor just a tad, and brings in the chill wind.
Lime and Lychee infused Custard. The Vanilla Bean Gelato is more of a Vanilla flavor than a Gelato flavor. FA Custard Premuim is by far the best custard flavor on the market. I know that it is a difficult flavor to get your hands on so it can also be replaced with TFA Vanilla Custard or CAP Vanilla Custard V2. They do their jobs quite well as replacements.
Let it steep for about 7 days and you should be good to go! This is going to be my ADV, its damn good!
Juicy pears ladened with honeycomb and crunchy cookie clusters.
This is one of my favorite pear pairings thanks to my new BFF, VT Honeycomb which (finally) masterfully resurrects faith (back) into using honey without the fear of a potential nuclear disaster.
My trusted pear combo does the heavy lifting here to provide an unbelievably realistic, fresh pear layer. FA Pear brings the juicy, run down your chin pear, whilst INW Pear adds the gritty texture, crunch and mouth feel.
VT Honeycomb is a fantastic revelation by providing a rich honey flavour without overpowering the mix. It’s slight crunch augments the biscuit layer and adds just the right amount of sweetness to the mix without defeating the delicate pear layer.
The crunchy cluster is meant to sit in the background and provide a subtle textural role. I used OG INW Biscuit and do not recommend using the reformulated version. A suitable sub is JF Biscuit at the same %.
Give this baby 3 days or so and she is ready to pop!
A smooth, juicy pear candy. Remember as a kid eating Pez candies? Imagine a handful of Pez textured candy mixed with the ripest, juiciest pear picked straight from the most bountiful pear tree all whipped together is a refreshing, candy textured eliquid. A great all day vape for you fruit/candy lovers.
A delightful blend of juicy blackberries and crisp pear.
This idea was founded on a challenge in our local DIY group following the posting of a pic of a popular baby food purée called Pear and Blacberry. The combination of flavor seemed so obvious that I had to give it go!
FW Blackberry is, in my view, the king of Blackberries as it encapsulates the essence of a true, fresh, blackberry in every sense. It is beatifully tart with the perfect amount of sweetness with zero floral notes, which is the nemesis of this fine berry. The innate earthyness compliments the earthy notes of the pear to perfection, resulting in a delishious medley of these unlikely bedfellows.
My trusty pear combo does the heavy lifting here to provide an unbelievably realistic, fresh pear flavor. FA Pear brings the juicy, run down your chin, pear whilst INW Pear adds the gritty texture, crunch and mouth feel.
FA Cream blends our heroes together and adds a fabulous, creamy, mouthfeel to the stereotipal ‘watery’ fruits used. You could use FLV with pleasure but I have a secret love affair with FA Cream and I can simple not find it in myself to cheat!
This baby is pretty good off the shake but will meld to perfection after 3 to 5 days.
My version of this Guava Candy includes a drop of Super Sweet per 15ml. The flavors are pretty sweet on their own but feel free to add to your liking.
After a shake it is, for me, a funky, cartoonish and candy-like sweet guava. With a little cactus tingle on the exhale. After a day or two the flavors blend together to a more cohesive guava candy. I can only describe it as a Funky Guava.
Personally, I did't notice a difference between 2-3 days and a 1,5 week steep. Curious how it wil fade/evolve after a longer steep though.
