Inspired by Lilt. I came up with this last autumn, when I wanted summer back in my life, but it’s taken a fair few iterations to get it balanced.
The Aurora is here to add a little carbonated zing to the profile. You could alternatively sub in FW Pink Champagne around 1% for a similar effect, but I like the brightness that Aurora brings here.
Everything else should be self-explanatory. The pineapples offer the main base, playing off the tart grapefruit from Inawera.
It’s good off the shake, but I recommend giving it 4 days for everything to settle together.
Whilst experimenting, I accidentally managed to come up with a pretty convincing Lilt!
To those of you not from the UK, Lilt is a delicious, fizzy pineapple and grapefruit drink made by the coca cola company:
I haven't had any for a long time and thought it was discontinued, but apparently you can still buy it (for that 'totally tropical taste').
Using a variation of the lemonade base I posted here: https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/131996#nice_raspberry_and_grapefruit_lemonade_by_harrynice
I added FA cold pressed lime and TPA champagne rather than FW lemonade so that it was light and the refreshing sharpness of the drink would come through.
Then I added the key ingredients (pineapple and grapefruit), gave it a mix and was very pleasantly surprised by just how much it tasted like the real thing...
This is good to go as S&V, but give it a week and it should settle into something magical!
It's winter time and everyone is snuggling up, getting warm in front of an open fire.
So what better than some cool refreshing summer drink flavoured vape juice?
I have been working on making fruit soda/lemonade type juices recently, and feel I have stumbled on some lovely recipes, using my patented (not patented) lemonade base paired with cocktails of different fruits.
For the base, I tried hard to create an illusion of 'fizz', which would also compliment additional fruit. I achieved this by combining sour, super sweet and koolada with one of the FW lemonades (normal or pink can be used)
I then experimented with various fruit combinations, and this one is my favourite so far (I will release other versions with different combinations)
Certified S&V, and very enjoyable! Please let me know what you think!
A celebration of the wonderful spectrum of citrus.
This simple mix combines the best citrus flavors around to give you a vibrant, refreshing, citrus smack!
INW Shisha Orange is, as I said before, a phenomenal orange... It is a full, juicy, fresh orange with no artificial notes. This is straight up orange juice without the acidic notes or annoyingly sweetness present in most orange concentrates. There is a fabulous zesty back note which emphasizes its authenticity perfectly.
Sweet tangerine provides a familiar, but not distinguishable, sweet citrus taste and blends wonderfully well with the orange to give us a full, well rounded citrus feel and more importantly, the sweetness element.
Cap lemon lime brings that refreshing, sharp (but not too sharp) lemon flavor followed up with a sweet lime punch all in one.
I could have gone for other, more pronounced lemon or lime flavors, but this baby just works so well in here that no other lemon is required.
INW Grapefruit is undeniably grapefruit and brings the final citrus element in the way of bitterness. This beauty is very realistic and encapsulates a fresh, white, grapefruit perfectly, skin and all.
Feel free to 0.5% WS23 or Koolada to make this a chilled version.
This baby needs 2 days or so for all the fruits to blend.
This isn't quite ready yet, but I think it does taste like a refreshing grapefruit and pink guava juice. I taste a nice sweet pink guava on the inhale, with a bright grapefruit on exhale. The throat hit has a nice burn that isn't overwhelming, and I have been Vaping this OTS and loving it. This is my first mix I can really describe as juicy. I wanted something refreshing and easy to mix for the mixers club's January 2018 "detox" submission.
Screwed Harambae is my take on the new Canadian e-juice, a blend of Grapefruit, Citrus, Blood Orange and Guava.
This one is to die for... Throw in some WS23 or Koolada if that's your thing, I prefer it the way it is without.
Since not all the flavors of my recipe are in the ATF-database, please find the correct ones here below.
(Natural) Grapefruit (Inawera) @ 2%
Blood Orange (FA) @ 1%
Guava (Inawera) @ 1.5%
So Sour so good (Inawera) @ 0.25%
Super Sweet (CAP) between 0.25% and 0.75%
Enjoy & comment please.
Bright Grapefruit supported by strawberry and Blueberry. Perfect Summer Vape.
INW grapefruit has a very authentic grapefruit flavor for me. During my testing after I got the flavor, it was quite strong at 5%. I wanted to whip something up that tamed out the bitterness, and added some fruity complexity and sweetness at the same time. I mix this at 75/25 VG/PG and its great as a shake and vape, but the grapefruit mellows a bit after a day or so. Berry base really supports the grapefruit zing and bitterness well.
An awesome fresh summertime ADV for me
Hope you enjoy.
Was chatting to my dad about the Manchester bombing an said it would be nice to do something for the victims an families, but didnt know what ?.
So he suggested why not donate some money from a recipe you sell to friends family etc so im gonna donate my profits to the fund
So maybe some of the mixing community could do the same if you are able to help what is obviously a worthy cause
Manchester news have a fund on https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/westandtogethermanchester an are 78% towards there total of raising £2 million for the families
The recipe is one i finished last month an have had really good feed back
FLV Pink Guava -after reading reviews on the sub i picked this up an i was over the moon with how it vaped ! Tons of flavour as expected with flavorah stuff but as good as i find some of there stuff they do have some shockers !! Its the main note through the whole recipe an it was begging to be paired with a good grapefruit imo
INW Grapefruit - A very sweet tart grapefruit that marrys well with the pink guava for the recipe ! Super fresh an perfect for this weather ! To high % an i felt some throat hit so 1.5 % was my sweet spot
TPA Dragonfruit/INW Raspberry - The supporting star in alot of fruit recipes pumps up the other fruits an with a bit of raspberry give the recipe some body an a nice secondary layer with some weight
WS-23 - Never been a Koolada fan but Ws-23 is good addition to keep that cool tropical flavour on a hot day
TPA Ethyl maltol just tames down the tartness of the grapefruit an smooths the sharper notes together
CAP super sweet - FOR THE WIN :-)
