This needs some balancing, so I'm very much open for ideas...
The recipe was influenced by the first-ever-premium liquid I've fallen in love back in 2014 - "Gold Tiger" by X-Bud(Liquideo FR). It's by no means a clone but rather an inspiration taken from the days of using low power mods and MTL atomizers (Vamo v5 and Nautilus).

I love the combination of various custards with CAP Cake Batter and there's nothing I can do about it. Tobaccos are not too bold but still quite noticeable even after two weeks of steeping. Thick caramel tobacco custard with some SPICE!

For those who want less tobacco but more caramel can simply drop the HS Ry1 and increase HS Ry4 percentage up to 4% or use your preferred Ry4. Enjoy!

Tastes like a Toscano Cigar smells, with just a touch of caramel and some nuttiness. Not smoky or ashy at all.

BROWN SHUGGGAAA, how come you taste so good.

Brown Sugar RY4.
I personally never got much of a vanilla/caramel vibe from TFA RY4 Double, I get a fuck ton of brown sugar an earthy whatnots. FLV Caramel is brown sugar. End of story. You cannot convince me otherwise. A little HS RY1 for some true tobacco vibes. FW Butter Pecan, just because I love it in my RY4s. Lastly FA Custard Premium, coz fuck it, I like vanilla note and dig how smooth it makes it. If you want more of a custard here, bump it up to 3% or use your favorite custard.

Been playing with some cavendish and different tobaccos/sweeteners to make mixes that have fallen on the range between straight tobacco and something smoother and sweeter. This combination was developed for an mtl rta and never tested outside of that. I imagine DTL would add more nuance which would likely bring out more complex tobacco notes and sweetness so some adjustments could be made depending on your tastes.

This comes across as a slightly sweet, dark flavored pipe tobacco with some emphasis on the tobacco and a hint of nuttiness to balance the sweet.

Baccos: hs ry1 provides the bulk of the bacco as a kind of neutral ciggie type flavor which gets slightly bent towards the more pipe feel with cavendish. At 0.5%, cavendish adds sweet syrupy pipe darkness without any ash or spice notes. Any higher than 0.5 and that part gets more intense and I wouldn’t take it higher than 0.75-1 if you wanted more of that here.

Additives: Arabian adds a distinctive nuttiness and body to the baccos. It settles down a bit by day 3 but is fairly prominent nonetheless. m&h provides a boost for the sweet and can be reduced for less sweetness particularly if you add more cavendish. I’d drop by 0.25 for every 0.1 of cavendish added if that’s your game. Smooth vanilla is intense at 0.2 so I use one drop (approximately 0.2) per 30ml because I’m too lazy to make a dilution. It’s a subtle amount here that needs about 3 days to come forward. I’ve found 0.02g/10ml to be a bold ass vanilla that needs at least several days to settle, 0.02g/15ml for a strong distinctive vanilla to settle in a few and 0.02g/30ml for the vanilla to creep in after a few days. As this is mostly snv (3 days) I stick with one drop per 30ml and I like it that way.

As always, there’s room to play here. You can sub out hs ry1 for a variety of baccos for different results. Flv Turkish at 1.5 for more spiced notes is my second choice. M&h can probably be subbed for something suitably sweet or even sweet cig at 0.5-1. Vanilla of choice at appropriate amounts. Smooth has some body so I’d probably stay with inw shisha before any others but I can see most any other working if you want some variety.

This one is good as is and is mostly balanced out by day 3. If you try it, I hope you enjoy it. If you change it, let me know because I am always tweaking and like how the parts here can be altered to keep it fresh.

Sagamore REMIX... again.

Sagamore by Adirondack vapors (along with their delicious chai flavored McKinley or Saratoga, their rendition on the tried and true strawberries and cream) was the stuff that got me off of smokes when I got my first vape. Since I've gotten into DIY, I've been cloning and remixing these 3 often. Sagamore is simply a RY4 with a bit of cupcake, creams, cinnamon, maybe graham cracker. In this remix, I forego the cracker, the extra creams, and the obvious choices like TFA RY4 Double, CAP CDS, or CAP Vanilla Cupcake. Instead, I went in a different direction but aimed to keep it simple. Think I struck gold. A thick, smooth caramel, touch of tobacco that cuts through all the heft, a nice cakey base to build it all upon, with a hint of that good ol' cinnamon tickle.

This one's solid, cost effective, and easily an ADV or big-batch worthy. Give it a go :)

Original Idea: Caramel Nutty Tobacco

Process: Worked on in the diy_ejuice discord by members who were present. Finalized in the second iteration, these are the original version's ratios. It had a bit more cream and the unfortunate addition of FLV Connecticut Shade which just overpowered the caramel notes and buried the subtleties of the tobaccos. Some experimentation with the original formula yielded this mix. Added to top it off was just a hair of INW Shisha Vanilla which adds warmth and a sensation of sweet without the added sugar and FLV Clove. Clove dried the mix up quite a bit and played off the rich notes from the CT Shade making this a really rich spiced tobacco blend.

Description: Spicy, nutty, creamy, caramel, dry, and tobacco forward

Result: This alteration to the V1 fixed some of the balancing issues we were having. Adding FLV Clove and Shisha Vanilla really balanced out all the creams and tamed the bullying of CT Shade leaving you with a heavily spiced, RY4 that wasnt too sweet, rich or carmel-ly. We hope you try it and enjoy it as much as we did.

Original Idea: Caramel Nutty Tobacco

Process: Worked on in the diy_ejuice discord by members who were present. Finalized in the second iteration, the first version had a bit more cream and an unfortunate addition of FLV Connecticut Shade. CT Shade did not play nicely with the other kids so he was banned from the sandbox. (These were later transformed into the Spicy Professor). Added to top it off was just a hair of INW Shisha Vanilla which adds warmth and a sensation of sweet without the added sugar.

Description: Buttery, nutty, creamy, caramel, dry, and tobacco forward

Result: This is a tobacco straight up. Imagine an RY4 without the sweet. The caramel is there and the vanilla, too. The creaminess and nuttiness is there. But this is very much a tobacco vape. You will get a delicate balance of dry nutty creamy buttery caramel under a warm blanket of tobacco with very little distinct flavors, all wrapped up snug for you. We hope you enjoy this as much as we did.

INW Custard and FA Caramel - they add a little bit extra caramel, while bringing a bit more body.
FA, HS and TPA Ry4/1 - TPAs all alone is dirty, but not tobacco-y enough. FAs is cleaner and that's exactly it's problem. Hangsen just to bring that classic hangsen tobacco note.
TPA Brown Sugar - i can't really explain but i really dig how it works with RY4d, makes everything a bit darker.
FA Mts Wizz - The mix didn't really work before i threw this in, just blends it all together.

A couple weeks should do ya. It gets a bit fuller the more you steep it, but starts losing some 'bite' after the 2nd/3rd week.

V2 Dropped TPA RY4D, upped both FA RY4 and HS RY1
