A Turkish delight infused ice cream.
Rose and raspberry ice-cream partnered with lemon and elderflower ice-cream.
The first decision I made was the ice cream base, I wanted to limit the vanilla as to not interfere with the main flavour so I chose FLV custard to get that eggyness and then loosened it with FA Milk.
The raspberry and elderflower can easily be dropped from this recipe but version one felt like it was missing something and the raspberry just gives the rose a little body and then my OCD kicked in and the lemon looked a bit lonely so I added a touch of elderflower because, well, it just worked and I like the lemon and elderflower combo, at 0.30 it’s going to give you that floral vibe but it won’t bog you down after a tank-full. The FLV rose essence really is the star of the show here, it let me add elderflower and still keep it on the low side of the floral spectrum.
You can totally drop the super sweet from this and not lose any of the characteristics, it’s all subjective but I feel it adds to that Turkish delight for that gelatinous syrupy edge.

Okay The break Down INW Biscuit,Cap sugar Cookie, TPA Graham Cracker Clr and CAP NYC Cheesecake make up our crust and the cheesecake base , used the FLV custard to bridge over the TPA Banana Cream and MB Soft Banana, shooting for a nice simple pie here that packs alot of texture and flavor , with the 3 cream like flavors in this recipe it will require a good steep of around 10 to 14 days before i feel it merges and mingles together and forms straight awesomeness...
also i have to apologize i am not very proficient in Recipe write ups and thats something i plan on working on this year, to become better with my descriptors and give you all a better representation of my intentions and profiles.
Home made vanilla Ice cream with strawberry swirls is what I'll call this mix. The rose enhances the strawberries in a very nice and sweet way. It brings a certain airiness to the recipe. FA Red Touch combined with TFA Strawberry is one of my favorite strawberry blends when I'm not looking for a candy strawberry. Rose in this recipe is very delicate and not floral. I considered bumping the rose but chose against if because while it may have added additional floral notes it also can add a pungent green stem note if used too high.
I Used almond to enhance my vanilla notes because I tend to be vanilla blind unless I enhance with either coconut or with almond. FA Creme fresh to add the homemade aspect of the recipe, FLV Custard (not to be mistaken with their Vanilla Custard) is a very nice smooth cream the Vanilla swirl adds the vanilla notes I was looking for and the silky ice cream texture.
WS23 - because Ice cream is supposed to be cold or its just cream but feel free to omit it if you don't like cold creams.
Sweetener : Just because I like it a little sweeter than the flavors I chose provide
All I can say here is this is my 1st all Flavorah custard recipe and it's very delicious!! I absolutely love the custard and biscotti together!! Add a touch of cream and cinnamon crunch n milk & honey and oooh la la it's fabulous!!!
It's a snv and is great right away if u like and up front biscotti and calms down more on day 2-7 as the custard starts to blend with the biscotti
Att: Impatient mixes that do not like to steep. this one isn't bad right out of the gate peaks at around 3 weeks.
FLV Pound cake and And Custard make a very nice sweet vanilla bed for this mix. Cap Butter Cream and FA Butterscotch are blended equal parts to make one play against the other adding the extra little bit of creamy buttery notes that FA is missing. FA does a good job bringing the melted brown sugar of real butterscotch but lacks a bit on the buttery aspect. Irish cream and Jamaican run are in the mix to give it a bit of a dark liquor type exhale. At 5.75% total flavor some people will think this cant possibly be tasteful enough but I am not a super sensitive vapor with extreme taste buds and I can guarantee this mix is a flavorful one. It taste good right out of the gate but it definitely benefits from letting it rest a week so that the Jamaican rum and Irish Cream fall in their place.
