So I love grape style vapes but they are almost always too sickly for me so this is a sour grape and mixed berry candy vape that has nice flavor punch w a sour finish that does not get sickly. If you want more grape flavor just turn up the tfa grape juice a bit and sweeten to taste. Less sour just lower or emit flv candy roll and/or flv lemon. This is a shake and vape but a couple days and everything really comes together.
01/17/20 So i bumped grape juice from 3.5-4% and I am liking it a bit more..It's more grape tasting without loosing the tangyness.
01/26/20..I added la lemonade 1% which adds a juicy tangier aspect to it.
A blue raspberry lemonade with a light pixie dust twist that I vape everyday. It's clean with a tart bite that doesn't linger..It is higher %'s than I normally go but works great in this recipe without being overly sweet at .3-.4%; although you can take the sweetener in any direction if you so desire. It's great as a shake and vape but a couple days steep really brings out the complexity; I hope you enjoy it..I appreciate any feedback.
Tweaked mix slightly on 5/27/2020 which helped some of the background notes to pop a little more.
The goal here was to create a grape flavored bubblegum with a texture reminiscent of the old individually wrapped grape bazooka joe/double bubble style gum. I wanted a nice juicy, candied grape flavor/texture with, at the same time, somewhat of a dry smooth texture to emulate the dryness that one would find on the outside of the gum before chewing it and I think this easy, simple recipe hit the nail on the head.
CAP-Bubble Gum. This was a no brainer on the best bubblegum to use here and in all honesty the best bubblegum to use, period. I tried numerous bubblegums and none of the 6 that I have on hand would have gotten the job done like the CAP did. It provided me with the perfect flavor and texture for the profile I was after. It provided me with that dry, somewhat chewy 'pink' flavor. I started out at 2% but, quickly realized that this this low the flavor was not full enough so, I upped it to 4% and bingo, I got what I was looking for. However, that percentage also provide me with a little harshness which I was not fond of.
FW-Whipped Cream. To curb the slight bit of harshness from the bubblegum I knew that this concentrate would remedy it. I've worked with this ingredient extensively and for some extra mouthfeel and 'smoothing out' properties it was the perfect fit. I started with it at .5% and it worked but, it didn't cut down enough of the harshness. I bumped it to .75% and voila, harshness gone, and a little extra mouthfeel and body.
FW-Grape Soda. I really wanted a single grape flavor that provided the juiciest qualities along with being full bodied and somewhat candied and non realistic. Having worked with this flavor before I new it would be the perfect fit and right off the bat it was. I tinkered around with other grapes just to see if I could improve what I already had unsuccessfully and ended up going with this, my original choice. Having used it at 3% elsewhere I knew that was right where it needed to be.
CAP-Super Sweet. Of course, being that this is a bubblegum we needed to add a little extra sweetness to it so, .5% suited this mix perfectly. Feel free to raise or lower this to preference.
FLV-Candy Roll. Having watch all of the NOTED series and taking the advice from ID10-T on this possibly working to add dryness to a bubblegum, I decided to try it. It worked. And at .5% it seemed to add what I was looking for without compromising flavor at all.
Right off the shake it's pretty well good to go. I dont wait for a steep personally but, I do notice that after the 3 day mark the flavors seem to marry together and become more so one with eachother.
Hope you enjoy!
This Mix was done for Our 1st live episode using. We talked about FLV Berry Blend in a live show - https://youtu.be/BYKq4D3Fh6o
I wanted to see if I could mix Berry Blend as the main profile into something familiar that Ive done before.
My Idea here was to Use a Jelly Candy Base that I know well to test how the Berry Blend would stand up in a Mix and it did Surprisingly well!
The combination of the Black current adds adds some wetness to the Berry Blend giving you one Juicy Berry main Profile. I also added Candy roll to boost the berries some more, you end up with a visible and balanced mix of the the red and purple gummy bears together.
Fuji @ 1.5 adds a Candy syrup that pushes that 'natural' sweetness of the other fruits.
I added a bit of sour here to mimic the juicy mouth sensation with a chewed gummy candy, I find the sour changes the way you taste some fruits and here it works well to do that.
Add if you like sweet stuff, Dont if you dont :-)
THIS RECIPE IS NOT DONE! THERE WILL BE SOME CHANGES.
NOTE: NW eucalyptus mint is a place holder for WF eucalyptus mint
Simple and tasty mix when you have a cold or have vapors tongue . The WF eucalyptus mint is lighter and sweeter and less menthol then the INW and can even be vaped by it self. there is also a very subtle citrus note. it does fade a bit after 5 - 7 days, and blends into the mix nicely.
The use of fuji apple adds a bright sweet juiciness to the mix and is well contrasted by the cap sweet guava for some citrus notes and sweet thick mouth feel.
candy roll is used as texturizer here and can and add a sweet tart texture candy base
This also works well with honeysuckle in place of the Sweet Guava for a more floral note, as it adds the body and sweetness of a sweet guava with a different flavor profile.
Add Sweetner to your preference I used FLV sweetnes at .30 .

Mixen Vixen Ep 27
for a more personalized explanations you should watch the show
This is a very sweet fruit candy desert mix of Berry Sorbet. It has all the candy elements with s sweet creamy finish.
FW Blueberry is one of the most candied vibrant blueberry I've ever tried blended with TFA raspberry another candies vibrant berry make a fantastic candied type blend I added a tiny bit of FLV Boysenberry for the darker berry swirls in the mix and only needed a little in order not to muddle the other two berries candies effect. The Cap Lemon Lime combined with Flv Candy roll provide the tangy sweet note that is often found in sorbet fro the citric acid and sweetener combination. I finished smoothing it out with a combination of Vanilla swirl and a touch of Vanilla. Sweetener is a must to keep the integrity of the mix in the candy sweet side of things. Yes all the bad notes you think will be here are here off the shake but after an overnight sit it starts to mellow and within 3 days everything blends in well into one solid smooth sorbet blend. I hope you all enjoy! :) If you like creamy candy mixes this one is yummmyyyy!!!
FA Polar blast is optional but not necessary, I used it at 0.25% just for a tad bit of a chill.
In honor of @ZestyVapes birthday, i decided to butcher a candy vape and destroy it more.
