Smashed blackberries folded into thick, sweet cream.
I set out to replicate a traditional fool which is a very simple & delicious dessert which involves folding pureed or stewed fruit into sweet cream or custard.
FA Vienna cream provides the main, sweet and creamy base bolstered by a smidgen of FLV cream to take it to the next level of uber creamy goodness. A spot of marshmallow to fluff and sweeten things up and we are good to go!
The simplicity and brilliance of FW Blackberry Is put to the test here and works perfectly to provide a fresh, juicy blackberry flavor. The CAP Lemon Lime compliments and balances the creaminess and fruitiness with finesse.
Being cream heavy, this baby needs at least 7 days to shine, 10 days best.
Named for my baby( Beautiful Crazy)
Among the flavors I ordered were cap lemon meringue pie ana d blood orange. I’ve been really stuck on lemon lately. Can’t vape anything else. So I figured I’d find what can be added to it! So I decided on black berry But it didn’t blend. Blood orange being citrus yet closer to black Berry also so it is a good correlating note for this recipe which got my top and supporting notes all the way fermented with each other. For my base I choose deep fried sweet pastry dough and biscuit finally I brought in fw yogurt to draw everything in tighter and give a smoother exhale.
A delightful blend of juicy blackberries and crisp pear.
This idea was founded on a challenge in our local DIY group following the posting of a pic of a popular baby food purée called Pear and Blacberry. The combination of flavor seemed so obvious that I had to give it go!
FW Blackberry is, in my view, the king of Blackberries as it encapsulates the essence of a true, fresh, blackberry in every sense. It is beatifully tart with the perfect amount of sweetness with zero floral notes, which is the nemesis of this fine berry. The innate earthyness compliments the earthy notes of the pear to perfection, resulting in a delishious medley of these unlikely bedfellows.
My trusty pear combo does the heavy lifting here to provide an unbelievably realistic, fresh pear flavor. FA Pear brings the juicy, run down your chin, pear whilst INW Pear adds the gritty texture, crunch and mouth feel.
FA Cream blends our heroes together and adds a fabulous, creamy, mouthfeel to the stereotipal ‘watery’ fruits used. You could use FLV with pleasure but I have a secret love affair with FA Cream and I can simple not find it in myself to cheat!
This baby is pretty good off the shake but will meld to perfection after 3 to 5 days.
This is a blackberry & blackcurrant marshmallow cream on top of a ginger graham crust.
The FLV Boysenberry isn't really used for its flavor but to jam up the berries and make them extra syrupy. I really wanted to use VTA Shisha Blackcurrant. It is easily my favorite standalone currant flavor, but it is pretty potent and tends to want to take over a mix which is why I used it really low. The CAP Gingerbread & CAP Graham is an idea I stole from @ID10-T he used it in his recipe https://alltheflavors.com/recipes/48608#titanic_by_id10_t. The CAP Whipped Marshmallow I used by mistake. I wanted to use CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream, but grabbed the Whipped Marsh by mistake and didn't notice it until after I mixed it, but it worked out pretty well.

FW Wild Berry Cobbler. This concentrate has been a favorite of mine for over a year. This is like a jammy blackberry with slight bakery notes. This is a great concentrate to start any cobbler,, pie,, or dark Berry pastry. Just yummy. Can you tell I like it?
This recipe is a blackberry & blueberry tart.
The berries for this tart, I used FW Blackberry and Hangsen Blueberry . They work great together in this recipe.
I use FA Custard Premium to add the creamy pudding in with the berries.
To enrich the slight pastry note of the wild Berry Cobbler. I added TFA Graham Cracker Clear & JF Biscuit
