Profile: A three layered Custard Cake with a light sweet lemon finish.

The body: TPA Vanilla Custard II and CAP Vanilla Custard v2 are the dominant flavors here with CAP Vanilla Cupcake V2 to soften the richness of the Custards. CAP New York Cheese Cake V2 was added to simulate the moist dense texture of Pound Cake.

Supporting flavors: The combination of CAP Juicy Lemon, CAP Bavarian Cream and CAP Golden Butter add a smooth but tangy citrus note that is present but not overpowering. It is noticeable on the inhale but much more present on the exhale.

Steep time: This recipe really comes to life after 2-3 weeks. The depth of flavor and mouth feel are spot on with a full months steep

Profile: A thick, sweet and creamy Vanilla Custard.

The body: The TPA Vanilla Custard 2 and CAP Vanilla Custard v2 are the dominant flavors here with a little added CAP Vanilla Cupcake v2 to really maximize the Vanilla profile. The CAP Bavarian Cream was added to simulate the dense creamy mouth feel of a true Custard.

Supporting flavors: The combination of CAP New York Cheese Cake v2 and CAP Butter Cream add a rich creamy texture to the background. It is noticeable on the inhale but much more present on the exhale.

Steep time: This mix doesn't really come to life until at least 1 week. The Vanilla will be quite strong until then. The depth of flavor and mouth feel need a full months steep to really develop and it continues to improve for a few more months. (If you can wait that long)

Here's my favourite glazed donuts recipe .. full of rich and intense feeling of every flavour on it, try it in a small amount and tell me your feedback on it ..

It's worth the wait ..

A โ€œClassicโ€ vanilla custard recipe with a touch of peanut. Not peanut butter, peanut chunks crushed over a bed of velvety smooth vanilla custard.

VANILLA CUSYARD V2 & SWEET CREAM forms the vanilla custard. The sweet cream adds to the mouthfeel and adds a hint of butter, which Is mmmmh!๐Ÿ˜‹

BISCUIT & BROWN SUGAR. I wanted a vanilla custard with a bit more complexity than just vanilla and cream, and with I bit of biscuits and Brown sugar I achieve that. The brown sugar also helps bring the peanut a bit more forward without adding more FLV PEANUT.

FLV PEANUT. Itโ€™s not the โญ๏ธ But kinda is. The peanut is present on the exhale, and without it I would just be a plain vanilla custard like the rest. 0.75 where the sweet spot for me. Higher than that it got dry and to nutty.

SUPER SWEET: Again. The peanut tends to get a bit dry, so super sweets also adds to both mouthfeel and sugary goodness, which I like in a custard. Not overly sweet, but sweetness in any kind, definitely needs to be there, so feel free to sub with your preferred sweetener.

This baby needs 21 days to fully develop, so be patient. She will get there. I PROMISE ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ‘Š
