My first attempt at a recipe using all Wonder Flavours. Needs some time to steep to get all the elements to align nicely.

Butter tart and shortbread cookie provide a nice buttery biscuit base, whilst the cookie crust also helps bridge the gap along with the cocoa to provide the chocolate.
Milk caramel candy is more than suitable to provide the gooey caramel layer.

I used butter tart, croissant and crepe to create the flaky pastry of a danish. I wanted to sweeten and thicken it up so I added the creme brulee. That's my danish base. Theoretically, I should be able to throw any jammy fruit or cream cheese at it.

Bear Claw, baby! The danish pastry base is comprised of butter tart, croissant and crepe. I added the creme brulee for that caramelized sugar note and a little mouth feel.

Raspberry Orange Bar

Description:
OMG I finally found a raspberry I can taste!!!! This mix is a raspberry and blood orange jammie type short bread pastry with a layer of plain frosting.

ExclusiveGirl's Raspberry Crepes
A light buttery crepe with a raspberry compote filling.

Flavor/Development Notes:
I love crepes, I have been making them a lot since Christmas since my roommate got me a crepe pan. They are simple and the key thing that differentiates them from pancakes (besides being thin) is butter. Crepes use a decent amount of melted butter right in the batter.
This is a sweet and light mix. The crepe itself is light and subtle and raspberry filling is more like a compote that you added some fresh strawberries and raspberries to. It is decent as a shake n vape but for best results, give it a week to come together more.

Crepe (SC) (WF) 2% / Butter Tart (SC) (WF) 0.5%:
Crepe WF is an excellent flavor, its light, slighting doughy, with a hint of spices. Its lacking a bit however so the Butter Tart is there to back it up. Butter Tart smells funky out of the bottle, its not a great smell to be honest but it is a solid flavor in low dose for its use here. Since crepes are buttery, and Crepe WF isn't, the Butter Tart is used to add the butter and backup the spices a bit more. Thank you RageIsALotOfWork for turning me on to this flavor!

Raspberry Shisha (INW) 1.5% / Sweet Strawberry (JF) 1% / Milk & Honey (FLV) 0.5%:
I struggle to taste raspberries the same way many cant taste strawberries. Please feel free to try this with other raspberries if you have one you favor more. The combo of raspberry and strawberry here is mainly there to help my taste buds pick up the raspberry more and make it pop a bit. The Milk and Honey is being used to slightly cream up and sweeten the fruits so it is more of a compote instead of just fresh fruit. Its also being used to sweeten the crepe a bit.

Mix it up and let me know what you think!

Pastéis de Nata AKA Portuguese Custard Tarts. [Revisited]

A few months ago I shared a new recipe I'd been developing for a while, a Portuguese Custard Tart. Having now received a few concentrates from Wonder Flavors, I decided to give this another crack.

This new revised recipe is a lot more with what I wanted, on the draw you get a face-full of rich custard; on the exhale you are met with a nice flaky, golden, buttery pastry that lingers on the tongue.

I have included updated notes below.

NOTES:

TPA PIE CRUST / CAP FUNNEL CAKE / WF BUTTER TART / WF CREPE / INW BISCUIT
This is the base for the butter pastry cup. The first batch of the new revisited recipe omitted the Funnel Cake, without it I found the pastry cup tasted raw and underdeveloped, The funnel cake adds a cooked and somewhat caramelized note to the pastry. The WF Crepe give the pastry dough more weight, it adds a nice denseness without distracting from the flaky pastry you get from WF Butter Tart.

CAP VAN CUSTARD/ FLV RICH CINNAMON / FLV COOKIE DOUGH
This is obviously the custard filling, the vanilla custard and cookie dough create a nice dense custard with caramel notes, having the vanilla custard at such a high percentage means the eggy notes are pretty obvious and up there which is what I wanted, however adds a lot to the steep time. In the original recipe I used CAP Cinnamon Danish Swirl to add a bit of a spicy note, this is now done with FLV Rich Cinnamon, which adds more authenticity to the profile and doesn't bog it down with too much of a bready note.

TPA BROWN SUGAR / TPA TOASTED MARSHMALLOW
This works with the cookie dough and toasted marshmallow to create a caramelized and 'burnt sugar' taste to the custard, like it's fresh out of the oven. The toasted marshmallow was also added to fluff everything out and provide the nice mouth feel you get from the recipe.

Give this bad boy at least a 10 day steep to let the custard really come together.

As always, constructive criticism is always welcome.
